How fast does it read?
Expect a stable number in about 2–3 seconds. Wait for the display to settle—not the first flicker. We do not advertise unverified one-second claims.
Can I leave it in the oven?
No. This is an instant-read for spot checks: insert, read, remove. Leaving the body in an oven or closed grill can damage it. A separate leave-in style may come later.
How do I clean it?
Rinse the probe tip under the tap, wipe the body with a soft damp cloth, and dry before folding. Do not soak overnight or run the electronics through a dishwasher. Splash-care only—no IP waterproof claim on this page.
